SONGWRITER & TOPLINE WRITER
VOCAL ARRANGER & VOCALIST
FUNK, R&B, DANCE, ROCK AND POP INFLUENCES
Michelle Ann Owens is an American songwriter, topline writer, vocal arranger & vocalist. Her sound is a crossover blend of horn-heavy funk, 90’s flavored R&B, dance, rock & pop, topped with emotive, bluesy vocals. Her tracks have a retro modern vibe featuring top musicians from all over the globe.
Her album “Chapter Vegas” was released in December 2025 and features two original songs produced by Michael “Fish” Herring (Christina Aguilera, New Kids On the Block, Backstreet Boys, Tupac, Siedah Garrett). It was quickly followed by “FOUNDATIONS”, a curated set of previously unreleased work for fans of 90’s & early 2000’s R&B nostalgia.
With a BMI affiliation as a songwriter and several years working as a tv music ghostwriter, Michelle’s original compositions have been on shows like The Kardashians, Big Brother, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Jersey Shore, Real Housewives of New Jersey, and America’s Next Top Model, among others. She’s also shared the stage with members of legendary music acts of The Doors, Deep Purple, Yes, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, and Bad Company.
Her individual bluesy, funky style also earned her a Billboard Songwriting Award and a Los Angeles Music Award with her original band Ladyfox, and her recent collaborations with house producer Eric Kupper (Frankie Knuckles, David Morales) have introduced her onto the global house music scene. Additional releases are currently in the queue with other DJ’s and producers and will be dropped throughout the Summer/Fall of 2026.
